Refund & Cancellation Policy

At eVidyaKosh, operated by CSC Mahadev Tikar (GSTIN 10HNCPK9403H1Z9), we strive to provide a fair and transparent experience for all users. This policy governs refunds, cancellations, and wallet withdrawals in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.
1. Wallet Balance Refund (Students)
Students may request a refund of their wallet balance under the following circumstances:
- Technical Failure: If a payment was deducted but the wallet was not credited due to a technical error.
- Duplicate Payment: If a duplicate charge occurred due to a payment gateway glitch.
- Session Not Delivered: If a booked tutoring session was cancelled by the educator or not delivered due to platform issues, the session fee will be refunded to the student's wallet automatically.
- Unused Wallet Balance: Students can request a refund of their remaining wallet balance if they wish to discontinue using the platform. A processing fee of up to 5% may apply.
2. How to Request a Refund
To request a wallet balance refund, contact us within 30 days of the transaction:

Please include your registered email address, phone number, and payment details (transaction ID, amount, date) in your request.
3. Refund Processing Time
If your refund request is approved, the amount will be credited back to your original payment method within 5-7 business days. For UPI transactions, refunds are typically processed within 2-3 business days.
4. Educator Withdrawal Policy
Educators earn through live tutoring sessions. Withdrawal timelines are as follows:
- Verified Educators: Withdrawal requests are processed within 48 hours (excluding Sundays and bank holidays).
- Unverified Educators: Withdrawal requests may take up to 7 working days for identity verification and fraud prevention checks.
- Minimum withdrawal amount: ₹100.
- Withdrawals are credited to the bank account registered in the educator's profile.
5. Non-Refundable Items
- Premium subscription fees once the subscription period has started and content has been accessed.
- Completed tutoring sessions where the service was delivered as expected.
- Report & Earn rewards that have already been withdrawn.
- Wallet balance forfeited due to account termination for policy violations.
6. Session Cancellation
- By Student: If a student cancels a booked session at least 1 hour before the scheduled time, the full session fee is refunded to their wallet. Late cancellations are non-refundable.
- By Educator: If an educator cancels, the full amount is automatically refunded to the student's wallet.
- No-Show: If an educator fails to join within 10 minutes of the scheduled time, the session is auto-cancelled and the student receives a full refund.
7. Account Cancellation
You may cancel your account at any time by contacting support. Before cancellation, you should request withdrawal of any remaining wallet balance. Unclaimed wallet balance after 180 days of account deletion will be forfeited.

If you are not satisfied with our resolution, you may escalate your complaint to:

eVidyaKosh reserves the right to refuse a refund request if it does not meet the policy criteria or if there is evidence of abuse. This policy is subject to change; updates will be communicated in advance.
